About the 5th Cav Association

Our Mission

It is the mission and purpose of this 5th U.S. Cavalry Association to provide opportunities for veterans and active duty personnel of the 5th U.S. Cavalry to meet together periodically for social and fraternal purposes and to preserve the history, traditions and accomplishments of the 5th U.S. Cavalry since its inception and organization in 1855 as a part of the United States Army. We also strive to actively support active duty Troops in units with the 5th Cavalry designation; and actively support and participate in the programs and activities of the 1st Cavalry Division Association.
